Every beer tells a story.
German Coast Beer Co. is located along the historic River Road in Luling, LA. We believe that every beer we brew tells a story, and our mission is to embrace the River Parishes’ rich cultural heritage as we make history being St. Charles Parish’s first craft beer brewery. Our goal is to convert locals into lovers of craft beer culture.
We want you to be a part of our story. Just as the Hale Boggs Bridge connects our River Parish communities across both sides of the Mississippi River, our taproom creates a welcoming space for our community to gather and celebrate the best of South Louisiana.
The Story Behind Our Name
Our beer is inspired by the legacy of our hard-working ancestors who settled down here along the banks of the Mississippi River. Because the parishes of St. Charles, St. John the Baptist, and St. James were largely established by German immigrants, these river parishes are traditionally referred to as Louisiana's German Coast.
